The pharma services and drug development group Ergomed PLC (LON:ERGO) recorded a rise in revenues and profit as it unveiled a strong order pipeline. The company’s backlog stands at around £59mln and it is sitting on cash of £4mln with zero debt.
In other news, Gulf Keystone Petroleum Ltd (LON:GKP) has confirmed the receipt of crude oil payments for exports in March. The company told investors that a US$15mln gross payment was received for the Shaikan field, in the Kurdistan region of northern Iraq.
Over at Breedon Aggregates Limited (LON:BREE), the construction materials group plans to address concerns raised by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) about its proposed acquisition of Hope Construction Materials.
The CMA completed its Phase 1 review and concluded there is a realistic prospect of a substantial reduction in competition in a number of local ready-mixed concrete markets.
Meanwhile, Deltex Medical Group PLC (LON:DEMG) posted flat revenues in 2015 as growing sales of its surgical blood monitoring probes abroad offset reduced demand from the NHS.
Nigel Keen, chairman, said the company had made significant progress despite the UK health service’s cash problems.
Metal Tiger plc (LON:MTR) updated investors on the progress of its copper/silver project in Botswana and the company’s joint venture partner. MOD Resources Limited (ASX:MOD), in which Metal Tiger holds a 30% stake, has entered a trading halt session state until Thursday at the latest.
Over at Caledonia Mining Corporation PLC (LON:CMCL), it announced that one of its independent director, David Henderson, has stepped down, with effect from Friday.
Elsewhere, Mariana Resources Ltd (LON:MARL) has opted to withdraw from the Nassau Gold Project in Suriname. It did so after evaluating all the exploration data and cited the "significant" future costs of an earn-in to the project for its exit.
Metals project developer Ferrum Crescent Ltd (LON:FCR) saw shares shoot up 90% on Tuesday to make it London's biggest riser as it revealed the growth potential of two Spanish lead-zinc projects.
It follows a period of due diligence on the Toral and Lago lead-zinc projects in Iberia, which are wholly owned by GoldQuest.
Over at Goldstone Resources Limited (LON:GRL), it has received an unsecured short-term loan from major shareholder Stratex International PLC (LON:STI) the exploration and development company focused on gold and base metals in Turkey and Africa, is lending up to US$100,000 to Goldstone. The loan is repayable by the end of the year and carries an interest rate of 5.0%.
And finally, SolGold PLC (LON:SOLG) has made another discovery of porphyry style copper gold mineralisation at its Cascabel prospect in Ecuador.
The discovery is at the surface 400m south of Alpala Creek and points to a new target area at Alpala South.
