Gold grades are high in Ulster

Dalradian Resources (LON:DALR TSX:DNA) shot higher on more fabulous-looking grades from in-fill drilling at the Curraghinalt mine in Ulster.

Best of the results was 100.66 g/t over 1.44m at the Sheep Dip vein, but this was one of a number of samples above 40 g/t at varying narrow widths.

Patrick Anderson, chief executive, said this latest batch of high grade assays marked the end of the in-fill drilling with a further 51,500m added to the original 80,000m.

A resource update for the measured and indicated resource on the back of the in-fill drilling is due by end April.

Dalradian is also working on a feasibility study that will include vein sampling, test stoping, mine planning and some additional metallurgical testing, he said.

“These other inputs will help to determine both the anticipated diluted grade of ore that will enter the mill and the expected gold recovery of that material."
