The leasing firm Avation PLC (LON:AVAP) increased its fleet size to 37 aircraft in 2016 from 33 at the end of last year, which has brought the average age down to 4.5 years from 5.2.
The remaining lease term has grown by 12 months in the first quarter to 6.7 years and the group has 100% fleet utilisation.
In other news, ITM Power PLC (LON:ITM) is joining forces industrial gases giant BOC to provide the infrastructure for its new electrolyser-based hydrogen refuelling stations for passenger cars.
BOC, now part of the German giant Linde, will source and install forecourt technology such as hydrogen compressors and dispensers.
Over at Minds + Machines Group Ltd (LON:MMX), it continued its evolution as it struck two transformational outsourcing deals for its top level domain business, which will significantly reduce costs.
The firm has inked an agreement with Nominet, which operates .uk and currently has over 10.7mln domains registered on its platform, to take over the management and running of up to 28 top level domains within MMX's portfolio.
Elsewhere, digital music and radio platform 7digital Group PLC (LON:7DIG) completed its purchase of French streaming provider Snowite SAS, which will be earnings enhancing and accelerate its international expansion.
Over at Africa-focused carrier Fastjet PLC (LON:FJET), the group outlined more director changes.

And finally, Metal Tiger plc (LON:MTR) has highlighted what it described as further encouraging assay results from the on-going drilling programme in the Kalahari copper belt in Botswana.
The second hole in the Target 3 area, unearthed 14 metres of mineralisation with a grade of 1.97% copper, which included 7 metres with 2.9% copper.
