Experienced financier Peter Housden has joined the board of facial recognition and eye-tracking technology company Seeing Machines PLC (LON:SEE) as a non-executive director.
He replaced Michael Roberts, who is stepping down from the board and giving up the role of chairman of the Risk, Audit & Finance Committee (RAFC). Housden will take on the role of chairman of the RAFC.
"The board warmly acknowledges Mike Roberts's contribution to the company as a director over the last three years, and as a shareholder for more than 10 years,” said Terry Winters, chairman of Seeing Machines.
“Mike gave the company strong support when it was really needed, and continued his contribution on the board. We thank Mike for his support.
“We also welcome Peter Housden to the board. His deep and varied experience of managing listed companies, particularly in the areas of risk, governance, audit, finance and strategy, will be valuable as the company continues to grow," Winters said.
