Corero Network Security PLC (LON:CNS) said its flagship cyber-security product has passed an industry milestone.
Corero's SmartWall Threat Defense System (TDS) won a coveted "recommended" rating in the recent NSS Labs DDoS prevention group test, with high performance in all test categories against five major rivals.
The company said NSS Labs was known as the world's leading security product testing laboratory.
The study showed a strong security rating and lower costs for the Corero product against rival products tested.
Chief executive Ashley Stephenson said: "The NSS Labs test results provide further validation of the industry-disrupting capabilities of Corero’s SmartWall TDS.
"Our technology is optimised to provide security efficacy with zero false positives at unprecedented performance levels, and we’re delighted to have that recognised."
