Wednesday's agenda - Ebiquity PLC and Akers Biosciences Inc to report

Among those reporting finals tomorrow is marketing analytics group Ebiquity plc (LON:EBQ) and traders will be keen to see how the company is dealing with a rapidly evolving digital and advertising landscape.

The tech firm digests so called "big data" and helps companies establish whether they are getting enough bang for their advertising and marketing buck.

The most recent update in January this year was positive, and a fitting swan-song for Michael Greenlees, who has now been succeeded as chief executive officer by Dr Michael Karg.

Wednesday's statement will provide Karg with the opportunity to lay down a few markers regarding future strategy.

City broker Numis Securities is predicting profit before tax of £11.1mln, up from £8.2mln the year before, and earnings per share of 10.7p, versus 7.5p the year before.

"The group released a positive trading update in January which indicated that it had continued to trade 'well', with good growth in Media Value Measurement (MVM) and a stellar performance in Marketing Performance Optimisation (MPO) partially offset by Market Intelligence (MI)," said analyst Paul Richards.

"We believe the structural tailwinds in MVM and MPO, combined with an improved performance from MI, position the group well going into 2016, while FX should also be beneficial."

"We expect the group to deliver mid/high single digit revenue growth and double-digit profit progression going forwards," he added, rating shares a 'buy' and targeting 162p (current price: 135.5p).

The broker forecasts plus 7% organic revenue growth in 2016 and a dividend payout of 0.5p.

Also on Wednesday are full year numbers from medical diagnostic testing kits maker Akers Biosciences (LON:AKR)

The company revealed last week it had been granted a US patent for the technology that is at the heart of a test that detects an allergy to the blood-thinning drug Heparin.
