Gaming Realms PLC licenses 90-ball bingo game to New Jersey operator

Bingo! The company has commenced its first venture into the US real money online gaming market

Casino and bingo games software developer Gaming Realms PLC (LON:GMR) has moved into the US real money online gaming market.

It has signed a licensing agreement with Pala Interactive LLC to deliver its 90-ball bingo game on PalaBingoUSA.com, the first and thus far only gaming web site regulated by New Jersey's regulators dedicated to this type of bingo.

Pala Interactive LLC is a subsidiary of the Pala Band of Mission Indians, one of California's leading casino operators, and has as its chief executive officer Jim Ryan, who is a non-executive director of Gaming Realms.

Gaming Realms will deliver the new bingo game to PalaBingoUSA.com and receive a share of the revenues generated from the gaming web site.

Pala Interactive has also agreed to commit significant resources to marketing the new game.

"This step into the US real money online gaming market is a significant milestone for Gaming Realms,” said Patrick Southon, chief executive officer of Gaming Realms.

Up till now, the company's licensing activity has been largely focused on the land-based machine, social casino and lottery scratch card market.

“Pala Interactive's decision to partner with us is a testament to our ability to develop high value and creative gaming content. The group believes this deal marks its successful transition to becoming a multi national content and platform company in the mobile gaming space," Southon added.

Shares in Gaming Realms dipped 1.3% to 19.25p.
