Main share price risers and fallers in London at 3.45pm

RISERS

Quixant (LON:QXT) up 11% to 210p. All full year numbers point north for the slot machine software group. Sales up 31%, underlying profits 28% and the dividend rises 25%. ”We have had a strong start to 2016” as well.

Akers Biosciences Inc (LON:AKR) up 8% to 132p. Diagnostics group has been granted a US patent for the technology at the heart of its heparin allergy test as its commercial push gathers momentum. "This patent is particularly important because it protects the antigen that gives our tests their superior accuracy,” said chairman and co-founder Raymond Akers.

Kingfisher plc (LON:KGF) up 6% to 372.4p. Solid progress on its turnaround plan unveiled in January while retail profit for the year to end January was up 7.4% to £746mln largely due to a good performance from Screwfix and a stable overall performance in France.

FALLERS

Amec Foster Wheeler PLC (LON:AMFW) down 9% to 454p. Societe Generale target price downgrade 613p to plus big rise in US oil stocks saps recent strength from oil sector. Amec is major supplier to oil sector.

Northcote Energy (LON:NCT) down 6% to 0.045p. Oil and gas group raises £450,000 at 0.032p as it diversifies into Mexico and Indonesia from its current US onshore focus.

Lamprell (LON:LAM) down 4% to 9.5p. Challenging economic environment likely to affect the industry through 2016 said the offshore oil services contractor.

RISERS

Kimberley Enterprises NV (LON:KBE) up 65% to 0.95p. Shares not looked back after the change of control yesterday. GBES now owns an effective 21.9% and Gabay Group 21.1% of Kimberly through their respective interests in another company, ERD. Shares are up almost three-fold over two days.

Golden Saint Resources Ltd (LON:GSR) up 26% to 0.009p. No reason why its three alluvial mining licences in Sierra Leone should not be renewed says the country’s National Minerals agency.

Amphion Innovations PLC (LON:AMP) up 18% to 3.38p. Company’s 44% associate Motif Bio has been invited to a major life science partnering conference next month. “The conference annually attracts an international "who's who" from biotech, pharma, and finance for three days networking and meetings, Motif said.

FALLERS

Greatland Gold PLC (LON:GGP) down 19% to 0.081p. Metals explorer posts an interim operating loss of £228,000 in challenging conditions, though adds that recently mining market has started to pick up.

Cenkos Securities PLC (LON:CNKS) down 10% to 130p. Profits fall 26% to £19.9mln and dividend is 18% lower, but broker reports some decent fundings for clients since January.

Lighthouse Group PLC (LON:LGT) down 8% to 12.5p. AFH Financial withdraws its takeover offer after Lighthouse directors refused to discuss it or put it to their shareholders.

RISERS

Premier Foods PLC (LON:PFD) up 45% to 45.6p. Bisto group rejects two offers from US firm McCormick & Co worth 52p and 60p and sets up co-operation deal with pot noodle inventor Nissin.

Metal Tiger (LON:MTR) up 9% to 2.4p. Associate in Botswana, MOD, reports more visible copper from latest drilling and says it points to a wide shallow dipping zone of sulphides from 60m down.

Anglo Pacific (LON:APF) up 8% to 69p. Royalty income increased 149% to £8.7mln, driven by a strong increase in production at Narrabri and mining at the Kestrel operation. Both are Australian coal assets.

FALLERS

SnackTime (LON:SNAK) down 31% to 5.55p. Shares resume trading, though accountant has issued a qualified report on the accounts for the year to March 2015.

William Hill (LON:WMH) down 12% to 326p. The bookie blamed "the worst Cheltenham results in recent history" for a profit warning. Its retail division made a loss on the race meet in Gloucestershire. It also said measures introduced to limit the amount of time punters spend gambling online had hit trading.

DFS Furniture (LON:DFS) down 5% to 309p. Seemingly harsh response to record interim profits and near 13% rise in the dividend. Board of the sofa maker expects to maintain trend over the remainder of the year.
