Discovery Metals announced the results of the final three drill holes from the Phase I drilling program on the Plutus Prospect which is part of the Maun Copper Project in Botswana. The results made pleasant reading, suggesting the current known zone of copper-silver mineralisation at Plutus extends to the south-west. Highlights included 7.7 metres grading 1.6% copper and 16 grams per tonne silver.

Discovery recently announced a maiden inferred mineral resource for Plutus of 14.5 million tonnes grading 1.3% copper and 12.6 grams per tonne silver. The possibility of any additional tonnage at Plutus will be viewed as highly encouraging for the economics of developing Maun.

Jeremy Read, Managing Director of Discovery Metals commented:

"These results are a great start to what we believe is going to be a very exciting year for Discovery as we further develop the Maun Copper Project and look to further expand our resource base."
