Galantas Gold Corp (LON:GAL, CVE:GAL) said a judicial review will be heard into the planning consent it was granted last summer for its underground gold mine in Omagh, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland.
It comes after a third party has obtained leave from Belfast High Court to bring the review, the firm said, adding it is expected to be heard between September 27 and September 29 this year.
Roland Phelps, president and chief executive officer of Galantas Gold, said: "The review should remove any dispute regarding the status of the planning consent. I am unable to make further comment regarding the review as it is before the court."
Permission was granted by the Department of Environment Northern Island (DOENI) in June last year and preparatory work begun.
