RISERS

Weatherly International (LON:WTI) continues a good run, up 27% to 0.35p. It comes as earlier this week the copper miner said its Tschudi mine in Namibia exceeded guidance in the first full quarter of production.

Europa Oil & Gas (LON:EOG), up 21.21% to 5p as it yesterday revealed it already sees potential for some 900mln barrels of oil in an area it was awarded last month.

Strategic Minerals (LON:SML), up 4.35% to 0.12p, reversing earlier losses, as the resource group updated on its Cobra tailings operations in the US and outlined its strategy.

FALLERS

Petroceltic (LON:PCI), down 23.95% to 7.7p as the board has responded to the £6.4mln takeover offer from activist shareholder Worldview Capital by telling investors to take no action.

Kibo Mining (LON:KIBO), down 16.67% to 3.13p.Yesterday the group said it had raised £1.5mln through a loan arrangement with Sanderson Capital Partners.

Whitbread (LON:WTB), down 6.10% to 3,801p as the owner of Costa Coffee reported a slowdown in sales, blaming it on a milder winter, which put people off going to the High Street..

RISERS

Mytrah Energy (LON:MYT), up 9.12% to 45.97p after it has refinanced its existing portfolio of sites through a US$380mln debt package with 22 banks.

Genel Energy (LON:GENL), up 5.79% to 82.25p as the oiler came back from recent losses after a reserve cut and gave 2015 results showinga rise in production.

HAT (LON:HAT), up 2.7% to 190p as the long-standing pawnbroking business gave a solid set of 2015 numbers.

FALLERS

Strategic Minerals (LON:SLM) , down 13% to 0.10p as it updated on recent activity and near term goals.

Inmarsat (LON:ISAT) , down 4.3% to 924.5p as the satellite firm reported a fall in profits amid weak global government spending.

Alecto Minerals' (LON:ALO), down 3.57% to 0.068p on new news though yesterday it revealed the identification of further surface gold resources within its Matala mine project in Zambia, which could enhance the economics of early operations.
