Leyshon Resources rose 5% this morning after publishing the last batch of drill hole data from a 43,700 metre program completed in October 2007. Results from the main ore zone continued to show good continuity in the mineralisation and returned some impressive intercepts including 20 metres grading 8 grams per tonne gold from hole ZGD177.

Leyshon said that all of the data would now to be included in a revised resource estimate that is expected in February 2008. Leyshon has already defined a inferred resource of 1.21 million ounces of gold, 3.72 million ounces of silver and 94,000 tonnes of zinc. The drilling program was designed to move most of the resources into indicated and measured categories ahead of a final mine design and project development.

Paul Atherley, MD of Leyshon added:

" These results provide us with continued confidence that the revised resource estimate, which is expected to be released shortly, will upgrade much of the resource to Measured and Indicated status allowing mine design to be finalised immediately ahead of project development."

Ambrian Capital, broker to Leyshon Resources, recently picked the Company as one of its top picks for 2008.
