Biotech group Scancell is to present an update on its immunotherapy technologies at the Biotech Capital Conference in London.

Biotech group Scancell (LON:SCLP) is to present at the Biotech Capital Conference in London on March 3.

Chief executive Dr Richard Goodfellow will update attendees on Scancell’s immunotherapy cancer treatments.

Meanwhile, email marketing group Dotdigital’s (LON:DOTD) US foray is progressing well, the email marketing company revealed in its half-year results.

The group's revenue in the six months to the end of 2015 was up 29%, with a 91% increase in revenues from the US.

In other news, Image Scan (LON:IGE) shares advanced as the x-ray products company told investors that it was optimistic over its first half performance.

It brought in over £1mln worth of new orders. It also received multi-unit orders for its newly released portable x-ray system from two Asian customers.

Over in life sciences, natural pesticide group TyraTech (LON:TYR) announced today that its head lice treatment Vamousse is set to be found in major US retailer Rite Aid Corporation after striking a new distribution agreement.

In commodities, Keras Resources (LON:KRS), formerly known as Ferrex, has boosted its gold production profile, as it entered a tribute agreement on a deposit in Western Australia. The firm has struck a 50:50 profit share agreement with Kalgoorlie Mining to exploit the Wycheproof gold deposit.

Additionally, Ariana Resources (LON:AAU) said the sale of a package of lithium-containing tenements in Pilbara, Australia to Dakota Minerals has boosted interest in its technology metals.

What’s more, South African gold miner Pan African Resources (LON:PAF) confirmed its commitment to ‘attractive dividends’ as interim earnings soared.

Cash generation increased greatly during half year said chief executive Cobus Loots, which allowed it cut its debts by 40% in sterling terms to £15mln.

Tethys Petroleum (LON:TPL) has confirmed it received $1mln from Kazakh group Olisol Investments last week as part of a previously agreed $15mln convertible debt facility. It has now signed amended terms for a proposed recapitalisation of the company.

Exploration and production company Genel Energy (LON:GENL) has announced that Jim Leng, non-executive director and chairman of the company’s remuneration committee, is to step down from the board in April.

Genel has now named George Rose as senior independent director, and it will review the composition of the board over the coming weeks.

Elsewhere, investment company Leni Gas Cuba (ISDX:CUBA) has hailed a strong trading performance by inCloud9/TravelWelcome Group (iC9), in which it has a 40% stake.

Unaudited consolidated revenues for iC9 in the four months to the end of January 2106 totalled $260,000 and that amount should more than double by the end of March, it told investors.

Stem cell specialist ReNeuron Group (LON:RENE) will move to a new purpose-built facility in Wales next month. It was previously based in Guildford.

And finally, fuel cell specialist Ceres Power (LON:CWR), said a new project has shown its Steel Cell can be mass-produced at affordable prices. The firm has completed a scale up project, allowing faster manufacturing production - a key step towards mass market commercialisation of the group's fuel cell technology.
