Resources miner Regency Mines (LON:RGM) is back in the Horse Hill oil project, near Gatwick airport, following the signing of an agreement with Angus Energy.
The deal comes after breakthrough well testing results last week, which propelled the shares of the listed Horse Hill stakeholders sharply higher.
Tablet TV specialist Motive Television (LON:MTV) had updated further on its convertible loan note debt and is required to pay £150,000 plus £28,200 in legal fees in cash in order to acquire the £1.4mln of notes.
In other news, internet domain name specialist Minds + Machines (LON:MMX) has seen a change at the top with Toby Hall, previously chief marketing officer, stepping up to replace Anthony Van Couvering as chief executive.
Meanwhile, biopharma-focused investor Fastnet Equity (LON:FAST) has requested its shares to be suspended as it closes in on a potential deal to buy Amryt Pharmaceuticals DAC.
Rolling over to Challenger Acquisitions (LON:CHAL), an investor in giant observation wheels, a land site has been secured for a 125 metre tall wheel to be built in Jakarta.
Over in commodities, oil explorer Hurricane Energy (LON:HUR) told investors that John Hogan, non-executive chairman, is to step down and will be replaced by Dr Robert Arnott.
Arnott has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry and also has ten years of experience in investment banking.
Oil and gas explorer Petroceltic (LON:PCI) has received a further waiver from its lenders regarding repayments under its senior bank facility.
The waiver has been extended to March 4. It is conditional upon Petroceltic making satisfactory progress with its ongoing strategic review.
Additionally, Enquest (LON:ENQ) and Cairn Energy (LON:CNE) have increased their interests in the Kraken oil field development project as their partner First Oil has run into trouble.
The London listed oil firms are to share First Oil’s 15% stake in the oil field.
Meanwhile, Empyrean Energy (LON:EME) has completed its sale of its 3% stake in the Suglarloaf AMI project in Texas’s Eagle Ford shale to Carrier Energy for US$61.5mln.
Resources investor Red Rock (LON:RRR) has received the second tranche of proceeds from the sale of its Colombian gold interests. The buyer is Colombia Milling (CML) and Red Rock has also agreed to amend the royalty agreement to start from May as gold output is not yet significant.
Over at Savannah Resources (LON:SAV), "excellent" progress is being made with its copper-gold projects in Oman, it told investors, releasing the remaining assays from drilling completed at the end of December.
