Jubilee Platinum nears commissioning of Dilokong plant

The two projects are predicted to process more than 900,000 tons of platinum surface tailings annually.

Jubilee Platinum (LON:JLP) is to commission its new platinum tailing processing plant at ASA Metals’ Dilokong chrome mine in South Africa this month.

Erection of its chrome plant has been carried out and final tie-ins for piping, electrics and controls are being completed, Jubilee said.

A second tailings project, with ferrochrome giant Hernic, is also on track for the final quarter of this year with pre-site work underway.

The two projects are predicted to process more than 900,000 tons of platinum surface tailings annually.
