Proactive news summary: Avation, Cluff Natural Resources, Epistem, Tern and more.

Epistem CEO to start earlier than planned, GameAccount Network signs casino deal and Caledonia Mining re-domicile.

Biotech group Epistem Holdings (LON:EHP) announced that its new chief executive David Budd will now take over on 1 March, six weeks earlier than previously planned.

Budd has more than 20 years of international commercial and operational experience in diagnostics and medical devices.

Meanwhile, the electronics and environmental services group APC Technology Group (LON:APC) is to raise £1.3mln through a share placing and subscription to bolster the balance sheet ahead and fund its growth plans.

APC said that all of its business units have continued to see “exciting and attainable growth opportunities”.

Additionally, Tern (LON:TERN), the investment company specialising in the cloud and mobile sectors, is to raise £1.1mln through a placing of shares at 12p each.

The placing will raise the number of Tern shares in issue to 71.9mln.

In other news, the aircraft leasing firm Avation (LON:AVAP) is predicting a “significant” increase in second-half revenues as additional planes are delivered.

Lease revenues increased by 14.4% in the six months ended December 31.

Someone played their cards right at GameAccount Network (LON:GAN), the business-to-business gambling technology group has landed a new deal with Atlantic City’s Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa after it signed up for the AIM company’s simulated online gaming platform.

Over in oil, Gulf Keystone Petroleum (LON:GKP) has told investors that the Kurdistan Regional Government has authorised a $15mln gross payment for crude oil produced from the Shaikan field.

It will be the latest monthly payment from the regional authorities, and it is being paid in accordance with contracted revenue terms.

Nu-Oil and Gas’s (LON:NUOG) joint venture company Marginal Field Development Company has been assigned 10% stakes in Helvick and Dunmore, off-shore Ireland, which are run by Providence Resources (LON:PVR).

Yesterday, Providence confirmed it had been given a new two year lease for both projects, which triggers the previously agreed partnership.

Over at Cluff Natural Resources (LON:CLNR), it has extended its arrangement with US oil and gas services group Halliburton for a further two years.

The arrangement secures Halliburton’s support for CLNR’s Southern North Sea gas portfolio as well as its Underground Coal Gasification assets.

And finally, Zimbabwe gold miner Caledonia Mining (LON:CMCL, TSE:CAL) said the resolution to approve the plan to re-domicile to the Channel Islands was approved at a shareholders meeting on Thursday.

Caledonia’s shares will continue to be listed and traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange and on AIM.
