Customised electronics supplier Acal (LON:ACL), announced the acquisition of Canada-based Plitron for £2mln. It is also set to hit its earnings forecast this year.
And finally, medical grade collagen manufacturer Collagen Solutions (LON:COS) today announced the death of its scientific adviser Professor Robert Brown, following a short illness.
Professor Brown of the University College London was a leading expert in the field of tissue engineering and collagen chemistry.
