Real Estate Investors (LON:RLE) said it had almost fully let its Leicester city centre office block as it updated on trading.
New tenant Bellrock Facilities Management is taking 21,715 square feet for £282,295 a year at Peat House and joins a roster of tenants that includes accountancy firm KPMG and Weightmans Solictors.
Rents from all its office retail developments totalled £11.9mln a year in 2015, up almost 55%.
Chief executive Paul Bassi said: "Our contracted rents have seen excellent growth during 2015, and with our acquisition pipeline and improvement in occupier demand, we anticipate further growth during 2016, which will firmly support our commitment to continue to grow our dividend payment.”
Separately, the Birmingham-based property developer, which is listed on AIM as a tax-efficient real estate investment trust, has also agreed a £30mln, five-year loan facility with Royal Bank of Scotland. The coupon on that debt is just 1.75% above the London inter-bank rate.
