Frontier Resources (LON:FRI), up 23.1%. The company has also become aware of erroneous postings on various financial community web sites in respect of purported broker research on the company. “There is no such research and therefore any such postings together with references to any broker share price target should be disregarded,” it said.
Condor Gold (LON:CNR), up 12.7%. The company revealed Oracle Management has an 8.1% stake in the company.
Weatherly International (LON:WTI), up 9.1%. After initial teething problems the copper cathode's Tschudi asset has got output up to nameplate capacity.

Bango (LON:BGO), down 20.1%. The mobile payments specialist said platform fees will come up short of original expectations.
MX Oil (LON:MXO), down 14.3%. The shares fell to 0.55p as it said it is in the process of completing a conditional placing at a targeted price range of between 0.5p and 1.0p per new ordinary share.
FinnAust Mining (LON:FAM), down 10.7%. The company has significantly expanded its licence coverage at its 100% owned copper, zinc and nickel properties in Finland.

Pearson (LON:PSON), up 15.0%. It is not often a stock rises sharply after a profit warning, but at least the dividend has been held, and the market always seems to like the prospect of loads of people losing their jobs – Pearson plans to axe 4,000 jobs.
Brown (N) Group (LON:BWNG), up 13.8%. The home shopping specialist is on track to meet full-year expectations despite “the well-documented difficult start to the season for our sector”.
Halfords Group (LON:HFD), up 9.3%. The fiscal third quarter saw a 0.3% year-on-year increase in like-for-like (LFL) sales at its core estate, while the Autocentres saw LFL sales improve by 1.9%.
FALLERS
Electra Private Equity (LON:ELTA), down 4.9%. The shares are trading ex-dividend today.
Compass Group (LON:CPG), down 3.8%. Another ex-div stock.
Aveva Group (LON:AVV), down 2.8%. Goldman Sachs downgraded the engineering software specialist to 'sell' from 'neutral'.

Surgical Innovations (LON:SUN) up 18% to 1.5p. Trading in 2015 was in line with expectations, thanks to an improved performance in the second half of the year. Annual revenues amounted to around £5.5mln, a 36% improvement.
Synectics (LON:SNX) up 12% to 129p. Awarded a multi-million pound contract for an integrated surveillance solution at a new casino in Macau.
Halfords (LON:HFD) up 9% to 355p. Like-for-like sales rise by 0.3% over the Christmas period and 1.2% for the past 41 weeks.
FALLERS
Fusionex (LON:FXI) down 13% to 286p. Company says results from ahead of expectation with profits of Rm28.4mln but shares have been trending down steadily recently with China concerns.
Emis (LON:EMIS) down 11% to 984p. Revenue growth held back by the timing of contracts within the Secondary Care division. The top line advance was a still 13%, while the company said profits for the year to December 31 were in line with expectations.
Chemring (LON:CHG) down 10% to 160p. Meaty rights issue to raise £81mln and shore up balance sheet. Terms are 4 for 9 at 94p.
