Shares in Kromek (LON:KMK) went higher after a long standing customer renewed a contract for detector modules worth US$957,000.
Kromek, the imaging technology group, said they will be incorporated into the unnamed customer's bone mineral densitometry (BMD) diagnostics systems used to analyse the health of bones, allowing clinicians to accurately detect Osteoporosis.
The new contract will be delivered over a 20-month period.
Kromek chief executive Arnab Basu told investors: "We are delighted that this long-standing customer has renewed their supply contract for detectors, which further strengthens our relationship with them.
"We continue to win repeat business from existing customers and BMD remains a key segment offering growth opportunities over the next 12 to 18 months in addition to our three primary growth target markets of SPECT, CT and networked radiation detectors."
Shares added 3.28% to stand at 31.5p each.
