Ergomed (LON:ERGO) has brought in pharma industry veteran Stephen Stamp to run its finance operation.
He will take over from current chief financial officer Neil Clark, who is to become chief executive of PrimeVigilance, the drug safety and medical information arm.
Stamp joins from US personalised medicine and bio-informatics company AssureRx Health but is better known here for work with other UK-listed companies.
Notably he was group finance director at serviced office group Regus and finance director at pharma major Shire when its market cap rose to £3.1bn from £20mln.
Miroslav Reljanovic, Ergomed’s chief executive, said Stamp brought with him significant experience and a track record of delivery in senior financial roles in the pharmaceutical industry.
“At the same time we will continue to benefit from Neil's continued commitment to the group as he takes over as full time CEO at PrimeVigilance.
"PrimeVigilance has grown into one of the leading European pharmacovigilance companies within five years and is a key growth driver for Ergomed.”
As well as supplying clinical research services, Ergomed has partnerships on a number of drugs in development currently.
