It was a day for the accountants on Tuesday, as consultancy firm Imaginatik (LON:IMTK) has paid off the remainder of its loan from non-executive chairman Matt Cooper.
The company, 15% owned by former Quindell chairman Rob Terry, has paid the remaining balance of US$60,000 of the US$110,000 loan announced in September last year.
Additionally, the US$250,000 loan plus interest provided Cooper on January 19, 2015, remains outstanding, but has been extended.
Elsewhere, Tablet TV company Motive Television (LON:MTV) reached an agreement with the largest holder of its convertible loan notes.
Andes Energia (LON:AEN) has amended debt repayment terms with Macquarie Corporate.
Meanwhile, patent and intellectual property (IP) group Amphion Innovations (LON:AMP) agreed an extension to the settlement of its loan notes.
In other news, Corero Network Security (LON:CNS) has won a significant order for its SmartWall Threat Defense System (TDS) from a US web site hosting company.
Corero said the order, worth more than US$400,000, is the company's largest single hosting provider deployment in its history and follows a successful proof of concept (POC) trial during which the company was able to demonstrate the effectiveness of its technology.
It was the biggest news on the small cap front, which included Nanobiotix (EPA:NANO), which launched a pre-clinical development programme, aimed at exploring whether lead product NBTXR3 can boost patients' immune system to fight cancer.
Staying in the pharma space, Scancell Holdings (LON:SCLP) hailed as a ‘ringing endorsement’ of its technology the publication of a paper describing the science behind its Moditope platform and the experimental results that support it.
The piece in the online edition of Cancer Research, a leading journal for doctors and surgeons specialising in this area of medicine, outlined the company’s innovative approach to generating vaccines that fight the disease.

In other board news, Management changes presaged back in July of last year have now been implemented at Michelmersh Brick Holdings (LON:MBH), with chief executive Martin Warner stepping down.
Martin Warner will move from the chief executive officer (CEO) position to become deputy chairman, and will remain an executive director.
Elsewhere, Eland Oil & Gas (LON:ELA) said Russell Harvey, a non-executive director of the company since 2012, will take over as chairman following the retirement of Henry ‘Harry’ Wilson.
In tech news, the explosive growth in user numbers of the Myanmar-language social media platform operated by MySQUAR (LON:MYSQ) has taken even the company's management by surprise.
At the end of the year, the total number of users of MySQUAR's products had topped 2mln, representing an increase of more than 150% over the the 774,636 users MySQUAR had at the end of May 2015, which was the number it quoted in its Aim admission document.
Finally, Jersey Oil & Gas (LON:JOG), formerly TrapOil, has agreed a deal to offload its 50% stake in a UK North Sea exploration area.
