Biomedical firm Netscientific (LON:NSCI) announced its subsidiary Wanda has inked a deal with a US home nursing group to provide its chronic condition digital management system.
The technology monitors patients at home, observing vital signs and symptoms, to reduce the number of potential hospitalisations.
The deal is with Chicago-based Health Resource Solutions (HRS), which looks after more than 1,000 patients per month helping them to have a higher quality of life at home rather than in hospitals.
The first patients are expected to start using the platform in the first quarter of this year.
Francois Martelet, chief executive of Netscientific, said: “Being selected by one of the leading high-tech home nursing and therapy services group in the US is an excellent endorsement of the potential Wanda's technology has to help improve people's lives by enabling them to stay at home and take more control to better manage their chronic conditions.”
Shares in Netscientific were 1p higher to 95p this morning.
