RISERS

Sovereign Mines of Africa (LON:SMA) up 103% to 0.28p. The company made two new board appointments and raised £500,000 through a share subscription.

Fitbug (LON:FITB) up 25.7% to 1.1p. The wearable tech firm secured additional working capital to support the roll out of its new product.

Rurelec (LON:RUR) up 22.8% to 1.08p. The due date for the repayment of its £600,000 short-term loan with Radix Investment has been extended to the end of June 2016.

FALLERS

Panmure Gordon (LON:PMR) down 19.9% to 66.5p. The broker sounded the earnings alarm as it said the rather choppy stock market of second half of the year had led to a number of major deals being deferred.

Churchill Mining (LON:CHL) down 16% to 20p. The firm denied reports from an Indonesian newswire about its dispute with the country's government.

Pittards (LON:PTD) down 10.5% to 83p. The leather goods maker warned its profits for the year will be “materially” below market expectations as it continues to experience lower demand.

Fastjet (LON:FJET) up 14.3%. African no-frills carrier said the Kenyan government had cleared it to launch flights between Kenya and Tanzania under a bilateral air services agreement between the two countries.

ITM Power (LON:ITM) up 6.7%. Energy storage and clean fuel company achieved sub-second response times for its refuelling station and power-to-gas equipment.

Frontera Resources (LON:FRR) up 3.8%. Eastern Europe-focused oil and gas group increases estimated resources at its South Kakheti gas complex in Georgia.

Game Digital (LON:GMD) down 35.8%. Video game retailer warns on profits after weak sales in the run-up to Christmas and an unexpectedly steep fall in older-format Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 game and software sales, down 56.7% to £23.4mln.

EKF Diagnostics (LON:EKF) down 12.5%. Medical group EKF Diagnostics Holdings reaches agreement to sell wholly owned subsidiary Selah Genomics, a US based developer of molecular diagnostics for personalised medicine, to co-founders Michael Bolick and Jeremy Stuart.

Empyrean Energy (LON:EME) down 9.3%. US onshore oil & gas company with assets in Texas and California says it continues to actively assess its ongoing financing requirements and operational strategy to allow it to manage its cashflow amid low oil prices.
