Real Estate Investors CEO and FD increase shareholdings

Chief executive Paul Bassi has increased his shareholding to 5.18%.

Senior directors at Birmingham based property group Real Estate Investors (LON:RLE) have bought £495,000 of shares.

In a stock market statement the company revealed that chief executive Paul Bassi has acquired 375,000 shares at a price of 66p each.

The £247,500 transaction sees Bassi increase his total stake to 9.6mln shares, or 5.18% of the company.

Similarly, finance director Marcus Daly bought 375,000 shares on the same terms and his interest in the company rises to 1.34mln shares or 0.72%.

On AIM, RLE shares were trading at 66.5p ahead of Tuesday’s close.
