Mercom Oil Sands (LON:MMO) up 18.2%. The company has appointed Kyle Appleby as its company secretary.
Cyprotex (LON:CRX) up 16%. The group said its latest quarter was ahead of market expectations and so full-year figures will significantly exceed previous hopes.
Redde (LON:REDD) up 11.7%. The firm said interim profits would likely exceed its previous expectations.
FALLERS
AFC Energy (LON:AFC) down 10.7%. The industrial fuel cell company raised £2.47mln through a subscription share issue.
China Nonferrous Gold (LON:CNG) down 8.5%. The mineral explorer announced that Beaufort Securities has been appointed as the firm’s joint broker.
Inspirit Energy (LON:INSP) down 7.7%. The boiler specialist has completed testing on its Inspirit charger, a boiler that generates electricity as well as thermal energy.

Egdon Resources (LON:EDR) up 15% to 9.5p. Offered eleven new and part blocks in UK’s 14th onshore licensing round.
Redde (LON:REDD) up 7% to 182p. Interim profits would likely exceed its previous expectations said crash repair specialist.
FALLERS
Concha (LON:CHA) down 70% to 0.78p. Discussions over possible investment come to an end. Board will look for other opportunities.
Altona Energy (LON:ANR) down 15% to 0.68p. Profit taking after big gains yesterday following confirmation of share subscription.
Berkeley Group (LON:BKG) down 6% to 3,543p. Footsie housebuilder goes ex- its latest massive dividend payment.
