RISERS

W Resources (LON:WRES) up 13%. The firm reported more strong indications of tungsten from drilling at La Parrilla in Spain. The best result was 11m at 0.20% WO3 (tungsten) from 29m in Hole IRC1-35, though hole 34 showed 0.15% over 5m.

Photonstar (LON:PSL) up 11.1%. the smart LED lighting specialist has struck a deal to extend its partnership with US IT giant IBM.

Sound Energy (LON:SOU) up 9.8%. The company has completed its 55% farm-in at the Morocco onshore licence Tendrara Lakbir, with ministerial approval, the final requirement, now received.

FALLERS

Forte Energy (LON:FTE) down 32%. For the third day in a row, the company has issued shares to Darwin Capital instead of payment from the convertible loan notes given in March.

PeerTV (LON:PTV) down 30%. A meeting hoped to restructure its subsidiary Digitek was held today, with 73% supporting the motion. Unfortunately, the firm needed 75% and so this has not been passed.

The People’s Operator (LON:TPOP) down 7.8%. The commercial mobile virtual network operator made £602,964 in revenue during the first half of 2015, after warning in November that its revenue would be below hopes.

RISERS

Altona Energy (LON:ANR) up 133% to 0.76p. Sino-Aus to subscribe by 21 December for 100mln shares at 0.5p per share, raising £500,000 for Altona. Sin-Aus will also inject A$5.4mln (out of A$6mln) into a new joint venture to start drilling at Altona’s flagship UGC project at Arckaringa in Australia.

Igas Energy (LON:IGAS): up 26% to 20.5p. UK shale gas companies doing well on report yesterday that fracking is safe and should be allowed.

MX Oil (LON:MXO) up 17% to 2.42p. Awarded four licences in the first round of onshore bidding in Mexico.

FALLERS

Work Group (LON:WORK) down 43% to 3.02p. Shares resumed trading after interims this morning. Losses rose to £0.7mln.

Arian Silver (LON:AGQ) down 33% to 108p. Shares resumed trading yesterday after main silver asset was handed to lender. Silver also weak ahead of Fed decision.

IronRidge Resources (LON:IRR) down 16% to 2p. Eases back after gains yesterday on significant bauxite discovery in Queensland.

RISERS

Thor Mining (LON:THR) up 75%. The firm has agreed to sell its subsidiary TM Gold, which holds interests in the Spring Hill and Dundas gold projects, to Australian company PC Gold for A$3.5mln.

AEC Education (LON:AEC) up 30%.KSP Investment has loaned the company up to £1mln. The loan is unsecured and has no interest, and will be paid as soon as possible out of future profits.

Transense Technologies (LON:TRT) up 17.4%. The group signed a deal with Continental, to supply it with its Translogik technology, used to test tyre pressure in off-road vehicles including combine harvesters. The new inspection probe has been adapted to be used with iOS.

FALLERS

Bonmarche (LON:BON) down 29%. The discount clothes retailer said it expects pre-tax profit to fall for the year to between £10mln and £12mln compared to £12.4mln in the year before. Also, chief executive Beth Butterwick is leaving to join fashion chain Karen Millen.

Blenheim Natural Resources (LON:BNR) down 14%. The company placed around 80mln shares at 0.8p per share to raise £640,000 to make further investments. Chris Cleverly, chief executive of African Potash (LON:AFPO) has been added to the board as a non-executive director.

Tengri (LON:TEN) down 6.9%. It has completed the scoping study for the Taldybulak gold copper project in the Kyrgyzstan and has decided not to proceed with its development due to the low metal prices making the site economically unfeasible.
