Netcall (LON:NET) shares nudged higher as it revealed it had won its first communications contract under the UK's government's new procurement scheme announced in September.
The new agreement means public sector organisations, including central government departments, NHS bodies, police and charities, can access and purchase services through an approved catalogue of accredited suppliers.
The contract, worth around £400,000 over the full term, sees the group provide its "Liberty Appointment Management Cycle" solution to an NHS Foundation Trust.
It will enable staff to 'remind, rebook and refill' appointments, the firm said.
Henrik Bang, Netcall chief executive, told investors: "As announced in September, this Government procurement agreement opened a wider portion of the public sector market to Netcall, providing us with access to new contract opportunities.
"We are delighted to be able to announce our first contract so quickly following that announcement and look forward to continuing to expand the delivery of our expertise and capabilities into the public sector."
