RISERS

Entertainment One (LON:ETO) up 16.4%.The firm’s shares dropped yesterday on news it has changed its debt facility, and Peel Hunt downgraded its forecasts for the year. But the company reminded investors that it is in line with expectations for the year and they rebounded today.

On The Beach (LON:OTB) up 12%. The specialist holiday group said trading had been unaffected by the terrorist attacks in Tunisia, Egypt and Paris as it posted strong annual earnings.

Xchanging (LON:XCH) up 9.8%. A fourth suitor tried its luck with the much fancied outsourcer. This latest approach, from US-based Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), is at 190p per share, but shares rose 10 194p as investors speculated more bids could be on the way.

FALLERS

Focusrite (LON:TUNE) down 16.3%. Pre-tax profit rose in its first full-year on AIM, but the company warned that, despite first quarter revenue also beating expectations, sales of its new products had been slower than hoped.

AFH Financial (LON:AFHP) down 13%. The firm raised £6.5mln through the placing of 2.7mln shares and subscription of 1.2mln shares at 165p per share.

TP Group (LON:TPG) down 8.7%. Contracts expected to contribute to this financial year have been delayed back to 2016 due to a weak energy market. This will “materially” impact results.

RISERS

FinnAust (LON:FAM) up 180% to 1.56p. Acquisition of stake in Pituffik titanium project in Greenland for £0.9mln.

Alternative Networks (LON:AN) up 11% to 448p. Dividend rises by 13% as IT group’s profits for year to September climb by a third.

Ashtead (LON:AHT) up 7.5% to 1,106p. FTSE 100 plant hire company reported strong first half, with revenues up 18% and earnings up 22%.

FALLERS

Litebulb (LON:LBB) down 43% to 8.25p. Two divisions are experiencing a difficult fourth quarter, which is expected to result in a shortfall in group revenues of approximately £3.3m compared to the expectations in September.“

PowerHouse Energy (LON:PHE) down 11% to 0.8p. Raises £250,000 through placing at 0.6 pence per share.

Anglo American (LON:AAL) down 6% to 304p. Another tough day after huge retrenchment plans revealed yesterday as brokers suggest it may not be enough to turn miner around.

Motive TV (LON:MTV) up 28.6%. Broadcast technology group has done a deal potentially worth more than US$2.5mln with ABT Africa to provide broadband to children in South Africa.

Easyhotel (LON:EZH) up 8.6%. Budget hotelier posts a 38% rise in annual pre-tax profit to £790,000 on a 15% increase in sales to £20mln and proposed a maiden final dividend of 0.33p per share.

Centralnic (LON:CNIC) up 5.6%. Internet domain name firm rises after announcing on Tuesday that it was buying companies forming the Instra Group for A$33mln, as well as launching a £10mln placing.

FALLERS

Rose Petroleum (LON:ROSE) down 18.2%. US and Mexico-focused oil & gas group announced a delay in the approval process for wells in the Uinta basin in Utah.

Stagecoach (LON:SGC) down 13.9%. Bus and train company warned on annual profits and reported a cautious outlook, with softer-than-expected revenue in its deregulated UK regional bus operations.

Redhall Group (LON:RHL) down 5.6%. Oil & gas engineer reports lower annual revenue due to continuing delays in customer programmes and the downturn in the oil and gas sector.
