RISERS

Kenmare Resources (LON:KMR) up 35.6%. The firm ended takeover talks with Illuka Resources. Meanwhile, SGRF, a sovereign wealth fund from Oman, has agreed in principle to invest US$100mln subject to other shareholders committing to invest an extra US$75mln.

Pinnacle Technology (LON:PINN) up 28%. The company appointed Gavin Lyons, the former chief executive of Accumuli, an IT security firm sold to NCC Group for £55mln, as its new executive chairman.

Immupharma (LON:IMM) up 17.5%. The first US sites are now open to recruit patients for its pivotal phase III clinical trial of Lupuzor.

FALLERS

Hunter Resources (LON:HNT) down 18.2%. The firm said it will look at arbitration measures if the sellers of a stake in the Pampamili gold project delay the company’s acquisition of a 51% any further.

Tlou Energy (LON:TLOU) down 12%. Stephen Hemsley has sold around 1.4mln shares in the company.

Forbidden Technologies (LON:FBT) down 10.1%. The firm has appointed Allenby Capital Limited as its Nominated Adviser and Broker with immediate effect.

RISERS

Rolls Royce (LON:RR.) is Footsie's biggest gainer, adding 3.52% after share falls of last week. It comes as Sky News reported that US firm ValueAct, now the engineer's biggest shareholder will hold its first formal talks with company executives about future plans

Associated British Foods (LON:ABF), the Primark owner, was up 2.61% to 3,577p as it had a 'hold' rating repeated by City broker Shore Capital.

Golden Saint Resources (LON:GSR), the Sierra Leone- focused gold and diamond group added 13.33% to 0.04p although there was no news out.

FALLERS

Fitbug (LON:FITB) was a hefty loser as the week began, dropping over 22%. Last week the fitness and tech group revealed that Paul Landau and James Ward, the management team that had been running the Fitbug Ltd operating subsidiary, were stepping down.

Outsourcer Serco Group (LON:SRP) dropped 7.09% as the group warned that sales and profits for 2016 would be below expectations after the sale of its offshore private-sector business-process outsourcing (BPO) operations.

Tesco (LON:TSCO) dropped 1.54% as marketing expert Jill Easterbrook left her job unexpectedly, less than a year into the role as the supermarket’s transformation director.

Independent Oil & Gas (LON:IOG) up 33.3%. The firm secured funding of around £4.75mln for an appraisal well on the Skipper field in the North Sea.

Sunrise Resources (LON:SRES) up 28.6%. The company staked claims over a second industrial minerals project - a pozzolan project - in Nevada, USA. It comes after the group said last week it had leased out its County Line Diatomite claims to EP Minerals for 25 years.

InternetQ (LON:INTQ) up 22.6%. The shares tanked last week on a blog report, which made a number of allegations against the firm. InternetQ refuted these claims, and today gave an almost line-by-line account of the blog and why it is incorrect.

FALLERS

LGO Energy (LON:LGO) down 29.4%. The Trinidad-focused oil firm hoisted the for sale sign as part of a wide-ranging strategic review of the business designed to “maximise shareholder value”.

Hardide (LON:HDD) down 16.3%. The firm swung to a pre-tax loss of £207,000 in the year to September from a profit of £110,000 the year before due to the tough oil and gas markets.

Serco Group (LON:SRP) down 10.5%. The group said it expects sales and profits for 2016 to be below expectations after the sale of its offshore private-sector business-process outsourcing (BPO) operations, though it said 2015 will be ahead of hopes.
