Clean fuel company ITM Power (LON:ITM) has signed a deal with civil engineering group Ove Arup & Partners to roll out hydrogen refuelling stations.
The pair will identify opportunities to deploy refuelling stations and energy storage systems using ITM's energy storage and refuelling technology.
ITM hopes to benefit from Arup's access to many early stage construction schemes involving energy systems.
Chief executive Graham Cooley said: "This is an excellent opportunity to identify new sites for hydrogen refuelling stations and other energy-related projects."
Arup energy systems director Alan Thomson said: "Arup has a world leading energy team and adding hydrogen technology to our portfolio will open up exciting new business."
