RISERS

Coral Products (LON:CRU) up 22.5%. Pre-tax profits more than doubled to £684,000 in the half-year to October 31 from £291,000 the year before despite slower sales at the injection moulded plastic products firm.

Motive Television (LON:MTV) up 9.1%. Bergen Asset Management has taken a 27.8% stake in the firm from just 3%.

Nature Group (LON:NGR) up 7.9%. The port and waste treatment company for the oil and marine industries said it has entered into a non-binding agreement to sell its subsidiary Nature Port Reception Facilities to an unnamed party.

FALLERS

Obtala Resources (LON:OBT) down 11.5%. The firm welcomed a Mozambican government move, which it says will safeguard the country's long term timber industry. It has suspended for two years authorising any application to cut down trees without the processing of timber under what's called the "simple licences" system.

Northcote (LON:NCT) down 8.3%. It has decided to withdraw from the pre-qualification process for Mexico’s next licensing round.

Gulf Keystone (LON:GKP) down 7.6%. The company confirmed the receipt of a US$15mln gross payment from the Kurdistan authorities. The company added that it has now received a total of US$86mln in payments for oil export sales from the Shaikan field since December 2014. Gulf Keystone said it is currently owed a total of US$298.4mln.

RISERS

Red Rock Resources (LON:RRR) up 14.3%. The company has partially disposed of its stake in Australian associate Star Striker. It sold 32.3mln shares for net proceeds of around AS$561,000 (£272,000).

Plant Health Care (LON:PHC) up 13.9%. The firm has signed a new distribution agreement with Sym-Agro, which expands the relationship between the two companies. Sym-Agro will distribute Employ, a product based on Plant’s technology.

Redt Energy (LON:RED) up 10.9%. The energy storage group, revealed its first unit has now been approved for connection to the UK power grid. The group, formerly known as Camco, added that its units would now be able receive the CE mark, and consequently will be eligible for distribution across the European Union.

FALLERS

Edenville Energy (LON:EDL) down 26%. The firm raised £250,000 through the issue of 625mln new shares at 0.04p per share.

Bilby (LON:BILB) down 18.4%. The holding company for gas heating and building services provider P&R Installation, said the integration of the Purdy Contracts business it acquired in July is progressing well but delays on its contract in Greenwich mean P&R will miss expectations for the full year.

Tricorn (LON:TCN) 10.2%. The firm warned its second half may be hit by slowdowns in key markets, meaning it will miss expectations despite making a small profit in the first half of the year.

RISERS

Zoopla (LON:ZPLA) added 2.93% to 245.8p as the property portal posted a record breaking set results in the face of increased competition. Profit, including exceptional items, was up 20% to £25.4mln, while revenue added 34%.

Pub and brewing giant Greene King (LON:GNK) shares added over 8% despite it warning that consumers were spending more on big items rather than going to the pub as it posted higher profits.

Teathers Financial (LON:TEA) surged around 17% higher to 2.5p although there was no news from the investment group.

FALLERS

Sirius Minerals (LON:SXX) shed over 5% to 18.25p as the potash mine developer confirmed that the judicial review period for all key planning approvals granted for its York mine had now ended.

Atlantic Coal (LON:ATC) fell over 8% to 0.105p as it received a requisition from a shareholder to call a general meeting.

Sweet Group (LON:CSG) shed 10.84% to 18.5p as it announced the admission of an offence under the UK Bribery Act in relation to two related contracts entered into in 2013 in the Middle East, identified by the firm and reported to the SFO (serious fraud office) and posted interim results.
