Amur Minerals strengthens fleet to speed up DFS

A new drill rig, two bulldozers and an excavator will be delivered to the Kun-Manie site in March

Amur Minerals (LON:AMC) has beefed up its equipment fleet at Kun-Manie in Far East Russia ahead of a development push next Spring.

A new drill rig, two bulldozers and an excavator will be delivered to the Kun-Manie site in March ready for use on the Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) at the nickel project.

Cost of the new kit is around US$2.5mln minus 18% for a VAT refund.

Robin Young, Amur’s chief executive, said the new machinery would expedite the DFS process and enable preliminary development work to get underway.

“These purchases will not only be key for near term objectives but will be available for use for an additional 4 to 5 years and can be considered to be the seed capital fleet of the development of Kun-Manie."
