Retail software supplier Attraqt Group (LON:ATQT) has done the first deal for its technology that enables retailers to put their web sites and catalogues into a mobile app.
Attraqt Group (LON:ATQT) and its partner Yudu Media have signed an agreement for their Live Catalog app technology with Screwfix Germany, owned by retail group Kingfisher (LON:KGF) .
The technology combines Attraqt’s visual merchandising platform with Yudu’s digital catalogue capabilities.
It means Screwfix Germany can convert its printed product catalogue and retail web site into a mobile digital app.
Screwfix’s e-commerce will also be enhanced through Attraqt’s technology, allowing the firm to add real-time merchandising techniques into its app, such as personalised promotions and special offers.
André Brown, chief executive of Attraqt, said: “Following the launch of Live Catalog we are pleased to have signed Screwfix Germany, the partnership's first joint client.
"We believe this partnership presents a valuable opportunity for Attraqt and we look forward to engaging with more of our joint clients on the potential of Live Catalog.”
AIM-quoted Attraqt signed a memorandum of understanding with Yudu in August to launch the new app platform.
