Netcall (LON:NET), which a communications software provider to the public sector, told investors it has secured a new local authority contract worth £400,000.
The five-year software-as-a-service (SaaS) deal is for Netcall’s Liberty Customer Experience Manager (CXM), which is part of what the company describes as a ‘multichannel customer engagement suite’.
CXM, according to Netcall, provides a single view of all relevant customer data. It enables efficient case management and facilitates multichannel interaction with their customers, the company explained.
Henrik Banh, Netcall chief executive, said the new deal is an “excellent demonstration” of the broad applicability of the Liberty suite.
“Today's Local Authorities are focused on providing increased levels of customer service via any communication means the customer wishes, whether that be telephone, mobile, web or email. Liberty enables them to provide this while reducing the cost of each interaction,” Bang added.
“We are delighted to be working with the Local Authority and look forward to helping them achieve their service goals."
The local authority has an existing SaaS relationship with Netcall, the company added.
In a separate statement, ahead of an AGM later today, Netcall chairman Michael Jackson said: "We have had a positive start to the year with the total value of sales orders considerably ahead of this time last year.”
Jackson also highlighted the recent investments in building cloud computing capabilities, and said it was an area the group intended to take full advantage on in the coming years.
