RISERS

Renew Holdings (LON:RNWH) up 5.9%. The engineering services firm bumped up its dividend for the year as its pre-tax profit rose to £16.1mln, from £13.1mln the year before. The company said it hit its sales target earlier than expected, boosting the results.

Solid State (LON:SOLI) up 5.2%. The electronic component maker issued a profit warning due to a weak first half caused by an order delay. But the firm said it expects an improved performance in the second half.

Drax (LON:DRX) up 5.1%. The power station operator reiterated its expectations for 2015 despite market conditions remaining challenges.

FALLERS

Premier African (LON:PREM) down 16%. The miner outlined some of the difficulties at the Zimbabwean project, where open pit operations have been temporarily suspended to reduce cash outflow.

Metal Tiger (LON:MTR) down 10.8%. The resource company investor has exercised its option to take 90% control of an exploration joint venture in Thailand focused on gold, antimony and copper.

Filtronic (LON:FTC) down 8%. The company is to issue 20mln shares at 5p a pop in an open offer to raise £1mln

RISERS

KEFI Minerals (LON:KEFI) up 16.7%. The company has raised US$4mln (£2.6mln) from the placement of 877mln new shares at 0.3p per share. More than two thirds of the issue was subscribed for by directors and management of KEFI, as well as its major shareholder Odey Asset Management, which upped its stake to 26%.

Eckoh (LON:ECK) up 7%. The secure payments specialist, revealed its recently acquired US arm, Product Support Solutions (PSS), had landed a deal worth a minimum US$2mln.

Severfield (LON:SFR) up 7%. The structural steel company saw pre-tax profit rocket to £3.2mln from £1.7mln the year before, as sales rose to £117.1mln from £97.4mln and it reintroduced its interim dividend, having not paid one in 2014. The firm said it was boosted by contract wins in its construction and infrastructure businesses.

FALLERS

Patagonia Gold (LON:PGD) down 16.9%. The firm has reduced its production estimates for its Lomada operation for the current year due to machinery problems, though output has now started to pick up again.

Chamberlin (LON:CMH) down 11.4%. The engineering firm issued a profit warning after its first half performance was hit by tough market conditions and a weak euro. It swung to a pre-tax loss of £426,000 in the six months to September, compared with a pre-tax profit of £279,000 the year before

AO World (LON:AO.) down 10. Online white goods retailer tumbled as European expansion and lower UK profits pushed it into the red. Overall sales were 22% higher at £264mln in the six months to September, but the group slipped from a profit of £0.9mln to losses of £8.9mln in the first half of the year.

Anglesey Mining (LON:AYM) up 11.1%. The company has appointed Beaufort Securities as its corporate broker with immediate effect.

AFI Development (LON:AFRB) up 6.7%. The Russian property developer swung to a US$20.7mln net loss in the nine months to September from a US$27.9mln net profit in the same period the year before. But the firm said the third quarter saw a gradual stabilisation in the retail market, as it made a net profit of US$12.5mln in the period.

Futura Medical (LON:FUM) up 6.5%. No further efficacy studies will be required for its pain relief products, TPR100 (diclofenac) and TIB200 (ibuprofen), prior to the submission of regulatory dossiers in Europe, it has been told by a key regulator. It is also meeting with the FDA in the US to being the process of regulatory approval.

FALLERS

Golden Saint Resources (LON:GSR) down 20%.The firm has brought in £170,000 via a share placing as it gave an operational update and reported on board changes.

Creston (LON:CRE) down 16.2%. The company blamed euro and client budget weaknesses for a “slower” first half. While its slower growth in the first quarter has been followed by a stronger performance in the second, the company said it expects its full year performance to fall slightly behind expectations.

Immuno Systems Holdings (LON:IDH) down 13.9%. First half sales slipped to £19.4mln from £22.1mln the year before, although this was in line with expectations. The firm said medium-term trading remains challenging with strong competition from its five main competitors and as a result it is changing the way it operates in the market.
