RISERS

Oilex (LON:OEX) up 17.8%. Sundeep Bhandari has advised the Oilex Board that he has requested the cancellation of 4,000,000 unlisted options issued to him and held in the name of India Hydrocarbons

Range Resources (LON:RRL) up 7.9%. It is preparing for production testing in its first development well at the Beach Marcelle field, onshore Trinidad.

Cambridge Cognition (LON:COG) up 7.9%. The software company that has developed a touch screen system to detect neuropsychological disorders, said trading for 2015 should match last year’s performance.

FALLERS

Motive Television (LON:MTV) down 15.4%. The company issued £72,500 worth of shares to Bergen Global Opportunity Fund as a conversion of debt into equity. The facility with Bergen now comprises £480,850.

Premier African (LON:PREM) down 4.7%. The firm has received early the proceeds of a second tranche of convertible loan notes issued to Darwin Strategic. The £157,500 will fund the ramp-up to full production at its 49%-owned RHA tungsten mine in Zimbabwe.

G4S (LON:G4S) down 3%. The outsourcing group was downgraded by Credit Suisse to ‘neutral’ from ‘outperform’ and had its target price cut to 250p from 320p. JPMorgan Cazenove also cut its target price on to 298p from 309p.

China New Energy (LON:CNEL) up 30.9%. the company is expecting to enter into the non-binding MOU with Sunbird Bioenergy Africa Limited and the Republic of Zimbabwe during its trip to the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation summit in Johannesburg in December 2015.

Beowulf (LON:BEM) up 18.4%. The company said it was unaware of any reason the share price movement, but noted its third quarter interim statement is due in 10 days.

Crossrider (LON:CROS) 9.7%. The web advertising specialist has bought 3.9mln of its own shares for 54.5p as it kicks off its repurchasing program.

Imperial Tobacco (LON:IMT) up 2%. There has been renewed speculation that rival British American Tobacco has been courting bankers about financing for a full takeover of the Lambert & Butler and JPS maker.

FALLERS

Bagir Group (LON:BAGR) down 17.4%. The firm issued 50,000 shares at 0.04p each to an employee as part of their options agreement.

Westmount Energy (LON:WTE) down 11.1%.The group announced an open offer of 9.8mln new shares and a 6mln share subscription, both at 4p per share, to raise around £633,000 for working capital.

Aqua Bounty Technologies (LON:ABTU) up 41%. The FDA has approved the company’s genetically enhanced salmon for production, sale and consumption.

88 energy (LON:88E) up 9.3%. The company has successfully raised US$3mln though an oversubscribed share placing and will open a share purchase plan to eligible existing shareholders with a view to raising a further US$2mln.

Alpha Real Trust (LON:ARTL) up 6.5%. The company revealed net asset value rose to 123.5p in the first half, from 113.2p in March, boosted by an improving economic backdrop.

FALLERS

Lonmin (LON:LMI) down 85%. Yesterday, shareholders approved its deeply discounted rights issue to raise US$400mln, and today the 26bn shares were admitted to the London stock exchange.

Halosource (LON:HALO) down 33.8%. The company has warned that it will post widening losses this year after delays in certain projects and operational challenges mean it will miss market expectations.

Real Good Food (LON:RGD) down 8.8%. The company clarified payment of a redemption fee on a shareholder loan to former subsidiary Napier Brown, which was sold in May. The £2.77mln loan was repaid in June along with interest of £324,000 and the redemption fee of £902,000 paid to Napier Brown Ingredients Limited.
