Oxford Advanced Surfaces Group completed the reverse takeover of Kanyon plc and started trading this morning.
Oxford Advanced Surfaces raised £3 million before expenses to further fund the commercialisation of a range of technologies that enable the modification of surface properties. The company is targeting a predominately licensing business model of its technology to the life sciences, electronics and industrial specialties markets. The intellectual property originated from the Department of Chemistry at Oxford University.
Following admission, Oxford Advanced Surfaces will have a market capitalisation of £44.5 million at the placing price of 25 pence.
