British terrestrial broadcaster ITV (LON:ITV) forecast a double-digit rise in profit this year and said the initial outlook for 2016 was encouraging.
ITV, home to Coronation Street and the X-Factor, said revenue rose 13% to £2bn in the nine months to September 30 with all parts of the business performing well.
An 8% third quarter increase in advertising revenue drove a 7% rise in broadcast and online revenue to £1.53bn in the period.
It said its share of viewing improved in the second half driven by strong performances in Daytime programming, soap operas and the Rugby World Cup.
Chief executive Adam Crozier said: "Continuing this trend remains a key focus for the business."
ITV Studios revenue was up 28%, driven by acquisitions and 9% internal growth.
US dramas did well with Aquarius and The Good Witch both recommissioned while in the UK there was a strong pipeline of new drama coming through including Beowulf, Jericho, Victoria and Tutankhamun as well as returning dramas Unforgotten and Poldark.
Crozier said: "We're on track for another year of double digit profit growth as we continue to strengthen ITV in the UK and internationally."
