Premier Oil (LON:PMO), up 10.6%. The shares moved up 9.4p to 90.8p after BNP Paribas issued a note that included a 98p target price.
Glencore (LON:GLEN), up 6.5%. Investors applauded progress made by the group in its quest to reduce its mountain of debt.
Weir Group (LON:WEIR), up 4.6%. RBC Capital Markets has upgraded the stock to 'sector performer' from 'under-perform' while the target price goes up to 1,200p from 1,150p.
FALLERS
Countrywide (LON:CWD), down 11.8%. The estate agency group tumbled after issuing a profit warning and a gloomy outlook statement.
Wetherspoon (JD) (LON:JDW), down 6.9%. The pub group warned that annual profits may be lower than expected due to wage hikes.
TalkTalk (LON:TALK), down 6.5%. A 16-year-old boy from Norwich has been bailed after being arrested in connection with alleged data theft from TalkTalk, making the fourth arrest since news of the cyber attack broke.

RISERS
Craven House Capital (LON:CRV), up 47.4%. Craven House Capital has entered into a stock purchase agreement with a member of the New York-based Global Emerging Markets Group (GEM). Under the terms of the facility GEM will fund Craven House with up to £30 million through a structured stock subscription agreement.
Berkeley Energy (LON:BKY, ASX:BKY), up 20.4%. The clean energy company revealed the inclusion of the high grade Zona 7 deposit into an updated pre-feasibility study has transformed the economics of the Salamanca project. The new net present value of around £581mln represents around 322p per Berkeley share, versus the current share price of 26.75p.
Forbidden Technologies (LON:FBT), up 18.4%. US-based full service production group Leftfield Entertainment, has chosen to deploy Forbidden's Forscene platform across its group of production companies to provide a flexible and efficient post-production solution.
FALLERS
Tyratech (DI) (LON:TYRU), down 21.2%. The shares dip to 3.25p after the natural insecticide group raised funds to grow its head lice treatment Vamousse and kick-start a new animal-focused product.
Countrywide (LON:CWD), down 11.9%. The UK's largest integrated property services group said it continues to perform well across its diversified portfolio, but there is a “but”; the estate agency business has not picked up since the General Election in the way that was anticipated.
Kennedy Ventures (LON:KENV), down 9.3%. The shares give back some of yesterday's gains, which were made on the back of news that the process plant at Tantalite Valley in Namibia has been commissioned.
