Mosaic (NYSE:MOS) rose 3.7% to $35.74. The U.S. fertilizer company reported a better-than-expected quarterly profit, helped by lower costs and a smaller tax bill.

Sprint (NYSE:S) tumbled 6.1% to $4.57 after the fourth-largest U.S. wireless carrier reported a wider-than-anticipated loss in its fiscal second quarter, and an unexpected drio in sales.
Fitbit (NYSE:FIT) slumped 6.3% to $38.22. The maker of wearable devices that went public in June unveiled plans to sell additional shares and lift restrictions on employee stock sales.
Kellogg (NYSE:K) fell 4.5% to $67.53 after the world’s largest cereal maker posted third-quarter revenue that trailed analysts’ estimates, hurt by lower sales of breakfast foods and currency fluctuations.
Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) slipped 0.8% to $623.56. The online retail giant will open its first-ever brick-and-mortar retail store in its 20-year life, in Seattle on Tuesday.
TransCanada (TSE:TRP) fluctuated and was last down 0.2% at $33.66. The country's second-biggest pipeline operato asked the U.S. government to suspend consideration of its bid to build an $8bn pipeline to funnel Alberta oil sands crude across the United States to Gulf Coast refineries.
