Below are the main news-driven share price movements at 4pm.

RISERS

PeerTV (LON:PTV) up 26.7%. Late yesterday afternoon the company said it received proposals to place three new non-exec directors on the board. It will put the motions forward to shareholders at the upcoming general meeting on Monday.

Opsec Security Group (LON:OSG), up 9.1%. The independent directors have recommended acceptance of a 55p a share cash offer from Orca Holdings. Orca approached Opsec with a bid proposal at the end of last month.

Plexus Holdings (LON:POS) up 4%. The company reported record revenue, profit and earnings in its full-year results as it decided to almost treble its dividend.

FALLERS

Plutus PowerGen (LON:PPG), down 26.4%. Shares in the standby power generation developer dimmed considerably, as a letter explaining the background and reasons for the proposed amendment to the acquisition agreement between Messrs Stephens and Lazarevic and the company arrived in shareholders’ in-boxes.

Northcote Energy (LON:NCT) down 9.5%. Red Rock Resources announced it is to be a new partner of the company, at the Shoats Creek field, in Louisiana.

DJI Holdings (LON:DJI) down 4%. The company has terminated the contract with outgoing chief financial officer Rodney Davis after he sold shares between September 30 and October 20 without authorisation required by the company’s dealing code.

Risers

Trinity Mirror (LON:TNI) up 8%. The company has placed a bet on the future of provincial newspapers, buying out the other stakeholders in regional newspaper publisher Local World Holdings.

Oxford Biomedica (LON:OXB) up 5%. Pharma giant GlaxoSmithKline (LON:GSK) has exercised an option to get a non-exclusive licence for two disease indications through Oxford’s LentiVector technology patents.

BT Group (LON:BT.A) up 3.3%. Its £12.5bn takeover of EE was approved by Britain’s competition watchdog. The review by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) concluded that there was limited overlap between the two companies’ business categories.

British American Tobacco (LON:BATS) up 2.3%. Although sales have been hit by currency headwinds, growth of 4.2% was higher than analysts had predicted. The company also noted it has been hit by slower than expected global growth.

Fallers

Petra Diamonds (LON:PDL) down 14 %. Falling prices have hit the company which has confirmed it is in talks with bankers over its debt covenants.

Antofagasta (LON:ANTO) down 4.4%. The Chilean copper miner cut its production target…again. The company cut its full-year guidance for the third time this year, to 635,000 tonnes of copper from 665,000 tonnes. Group copper production for the first nine months was 11% lower than in the same period last year, due to lower output at Los Pelambres and Centinela. Gold production was down 16.1%.

RISERS

Pantheon Resources (LON:PANR) up 38.6%. Its joint venture onshore East Texas has completed flow testing. The VOBM#1 well encountered 62 feet of net pay, at a depth of 14,200 feet. Gross production from the well equates to over 1,500 boepd, the company said.

Prime People (LON:PRP) up 20.9%. Profits rose to £1.1mln in the first half to September, from £640,000 the year before, as sales climbed by £2mln to £10.2mln. It also appointed a new finance director.

Red Rock Resources (LON:RRR) up 12%. The company announced it is to be a new partner of Northcote Energy (LON:NCT) at the Shoats Creek field, in Louisiana.

FALLERS

Meggitt (LON:MGGT) down 23.9%. The engineering firm warned weak demand in the civil and military aviation markets means profits will likely be “meaningfully” below expectations.

Bagir Group (LON:BAGR) down 9%. The company has hired Eran Itzhak as its chief executive, replacing Danny Taragen who is stepping down in Novemeber. It also restructured its management, with its chief finance officer now deputy chief executive as well.

Lloyds Bank (LON:LLOY) down 4.5%. The bank put in a mixed performance in its latest quarter ahead of the sale of the remainder of its stake by the UK government.
