Premier African issues shares and gets first ore from underground RHA

Premier African Minerals said it has issued £500,000 worth of shares to Darwin following a conversion notice under the previously announced loan note deal.

Premier African Minerals (LON:PREM) said it has issued £500,000 worth of shares to Darwin following a conversion notice under the previously announced loan note deal.

Via issuing 36 loan notes to Darwin, the miner raised a further £810,000 of debt, as reported earlier this month, to support its RHA tungsten operation in Zimbabwe while it builds up to full production.

The money has been used to fund the re-opening of underground operations at the RHA tungsten project in Zimbabwe and first ore was delivered from the underground on October 20.

Ore is now being delivered daily from historic workings to build up a stockpile for processing through the plant, Premier said.

Premier is already owed US$11mln by RHA and has US$4mln of debt on its own book. RHA is expected to start rental payments and begin to pay down the debt to Premier from the start of 2016.
