New York Stock Exchange listed Manchester United (NYSE:MANU) told investors it has hired Cliff Baty as its new chief financial officer.
Baty joins from betting software group Sportech, which is in the process of being acquired by Canadian group Contagious Gaming.
Prior to working for London based Sportech, Baty held senior finance roles at UK bookmarker Ladbrokes.
Ed Woodward, Manchester United chief executive, in a statement said: “We are very pleased to welcome Cliff to the Club.”
“He is a proven finance executive who brings a wealth of international business experience, and will be an excellent addition to our senior management team.”
