Landore gets thumbs up from consultants for Canadian nickel projects

An independent report has recommended further exploration work on Landore's Junior Lake nickel project

Landore Resources (LON:LND) has released the results of a Mineral Potential Investigation that was carried out on its Canadian base metals project by RPA Inc, a team of independent engineers from Toronto.

RPA said that “there is excellent exploration potential remaining in many areas of the Junior Lake property and that more work is warranted.”

It went on to make several recommendations for further action, including an update of the mineral resource estimate for the B-47 deposit, further exploration work at B-47, a “property-scale” compilation of all exploration data, the completion of a preliminary economic assessment that investigates minimum tonnage and grade at Junior Lake, and the undertaking of metallurgical studies.

Landore’s chief executive Bill Humphries said that the report from RPA had “confirmed the significant value of the Junior Lake project.”

He added that the studies had also “established the high potential of the B-47 and VW nickel deposits for continued growth”, and that they had “identified substantial potential for further discoveries in the surrounding property.”
