RISERS

SeaEnergy (LON:SEA) up 33%. The company was shortlisted as a finalist in the Business Innovation – SME category at the Oil & Gas UK Awards held next month.

Motive Television (LON:MTV) up 18%. The company said it is launching a new, upgraded, TabletTV app in the US.

Kromek Group (LON:KMK) up 18%. It has been nominated by the US Department of Defense as the sole source supplier of personal radiation detectors for the SIGMA anti -nuclear terrorist program.

Fastjet (LON:FJET) up 7.5%. The Africa-focused airline has signed a sales and distribution contract with global carrier Emirates.

FALLERS

Weir Group (LON:WEIR) down 2.6%. The engineering services company was downgraded to ‘Sell’ from ‘Neutral’ by Investec.

RISERS

KAZ Minerals (LON:KAZ) up 6.5%. Miners were higher today despite a slight dip in metal prices. KAZ rose the highest as it received a reiterated price target from Jefferies of 170p, some 40p higher than the current share price.

Dunelm (LON:DNLM) up 2%. The explosive sales growth from home delivery is tailing off, but the bricks & mortar stores saw an acceleration in LFL sales the company said in its interims.

Tullow Oil (LON:TLW) up 1.4%. It has regained its 7.5% stake in the Onal Complex oil producing fields and the Ezanga block, formerly the Omoueyi exploration block, following an agreement reached with the government of Gabon.

FALLERS

Hays (LON:HAS) down 5.2%. The Recruiter has warned of current macro-economic risks in its fiscal first quarter update.

Tate & Lyle (LON:TATE) down 2%.

Marks & Spencer (LON:MKS) down 1.7%. The High Street bellwether has been down-rated to a ‘sell’ by broker Peel Hunt, which is worried over the quality and appeal of its clothing ranges.

Atlantic Coal (LON:ATC) up 17.7%. The company has issued an upbeat trading update that revealed production and prices are both moving in a favourable direction.

Sierra Rutile (LON:SRX) up 9%. The firm is firing on all cylinders. The latest update, covering the third quarter, revealed it produced its second-strongest ever quarter with output of 33,960 tonnes rutile.

Escher Group (LON:ESCH) up 6%. The company has secured a contract to deliver and operate a digital communications platform for the London Local Enterprise Partnership.

Tullow Oil (LON:TLW) up 1.7%. Tullow has been boosted by a deal with the Government of Gabon which sees the oil firm’s licence for the Onal fields confirmed until at least 2034.

FALLERS

International Mining & Infra Corp (LON:IMIC) down 7.7%. Strand Hanson has resigned as nominated adviser (nomad) of the AIM-listed firm with immediate effect.

Limitless Earth (LON:LME) down 4%. The investment company has invested US$500,000, by way of convertible preference stock, in Chronix Biomedical.
