ADRs of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries (NYSE:TEVA) rose 1.4% to $57.23 after the Israeli generic drugs maker agreed to acquire Representaciones & Investigaciones Medicas SA, or Rimsa, for $2.3bn.
ADRs of Repsol (OTCMKTS:REPYY) climbed 2.9% to $11.99 after the Spanish energy company said it plans to cut 6% of its workforce by 2020.

Dunkin' Brands Group (NASDAQ:DNKN) tumbled 11% to $44.73 after the coffee and donut retail chain issued a downbeat full-year profit outlook.
Deere (NYSE:DE) fell 1.7% to a$72.72, the lowest intraday price in almost three years. The world’s largest truck-maker said it has reached a tentative agreement with the United Auto Workers Union on a six-year contract.
McCormick (NYSE:MKC) retreated 4.3% to $78.66 after the spice maker said profit fell in its latest quarter, hurt by the strong dollar and weak results in its India business. It forecast that fiscal 2015 sales growth would be cut by five percentage points.
Northrop Grumman (NYSE:NOC) slid 1.3% to $163.82. The fifth-largest defense contractor was awarded a contract valued at up to $3.2bn for continued development, modernization and maintenance of all U.S. Air Force variants of the Global Hawk unmanned surveillance plane.
