U.S. Risers/Fallers: Palo Alto, Mondelez, Con-way, Krispy Kreme, Seagate, Box

Here's a look at the main movers as of 3:21 p.m. in New York on Thursday:

RISERS

Palo Alto Networks (NYSE:PANW) gained 7.2% to $177.02. The cyber security company provided current-quarter revenue guidance above market expectations, buoyed by increased government and corporate spending on cyber protection.

Mondelez International (NASDAQ:MDLZ) rose 1.0% to $42.39, erasing an earlier loss. The snack maker said it will spend more on advertising its brands, increase healthier offerings and expand its ecommerce business to boost sales.

Con-way (NYSE:CNW) leaped 34% to $47.58. The trucking company agreed to be bought by rival XPO Logistics for $47.60 per share in cash, a 34% premium over Wednesday's close. The deal is worth a total of $3bn, including the assumption of debt.

FALLERS

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (NYSE:KKD) sank 12% to $15.66 after the doughnuts chain cut its outlook for the current year while reporting weaker-than-expected results for the latest quarter.

Seagate Technology (NASDAQ:STX) fell 1.7% to $49.23. The disk drive maker unveiled a restructuring plan that will see it cut 1,050 workers, or about 2% of its global workforce.

Box (NYSE:BOX) dropped 3.8% to $13.71. The cloud company lost $0.28 per share for its latest quarter, $0.01 less than expected, while revenue was above forecasts.
