Here's a look at the main movers in early deals at 11:00 a.m. in New York on Tuesday:

FALLERS

Dollar Tree (NASDAQ:DLTR) fell 7% to $70.92 after the second-largest U.S. dollar-store retailer provided gloomy revenue outlook while swinging to a quarter loss.

Yahoo (NASDAQ:YHOO) dropped 1.5% to $31.78. The company’s chief executive officer Marissa Mayer announced she is pregnant with identical twin girls, likely due in December.

Penn West Petroleum (NYSE:PWE) lost 9.8% to $0.695 after the Canadian producer said it will reduce its staff by 35%, suspend the dividend and cut back on spending.

Valeant Pharmaceuticals (NYSE:VRX) fell 2.2% to $225.51. Valeant is buying the rights to AstraZeneca's experimental psoriasis drug brodalumab, several months after Amgen dropped out.

FedEx (NYSE:FDX) eased back 0.4% to $150.09 even as Citi added the operator of the world's largest cargo airline to its recommended list, based on FedEx's exposure to e-commerce growth and attractive valuation among other factors.

Science Applications International (NYSE:SAIC) tumbled 9.3% to $44.23 even as the defense contractor reported better-than-expected profits for its latest quarter.
