RISERS

Home Depot (NYSE:HD) gained 2.3% to $122.40. The world’s largest home-improvement retailer, reported better-than-expected second-quarter results and boosted its outlook amid recovery in the U.S. housing market.

Dick's Sporting Goods (NYSE:DKS) rose 2.8% to $52.14 as the largest U.S. based full-line omni-channel sporting goods retailer boosted its earnings guidance for the full fiscal year.

Omeros (NASDAQ:OMER) leaped 57% to $22.94 as the biopharmaceutical company reported positive mid-stage study results of its drug to treat disorders characterized by excessive blood clots.

FALLERS

Wal-Mart Stores (NYSE:WMT) fell 3% t o$69.75 after the world’s largest retailer warned on profits as it pays higher wages and invests more in its U.S. business.

Esperion Therapeutics (NASDAQ:ESPR) tumbled 11.6% to $66.78, reversing an earlier rally to as high as $82.75. The emerging drug developer said it is on track to start a final-stage trial of its cholesterol-lowering drug by the end of this year.

Seattle Genetics (NASDAQ:SGEN) fluctuated and was last down 1.3% at $45.83. The biotechnology company won approval to expand the use of its Adcetris treatment.

Urban Outfitters (NASDAQ:URBN) skidded 1.8% to $31.65 as the retailer reported mixed results.
